“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
"The Spirit of the Lord is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19 MKJV
Dear Brothers and Sisters;
Míle fáilte
A thousand welcomes
in the name of Christ Jesus. We welcome you and all people who share a
faith in Jesus Christ to explore these pages and pray that in so doing you will
come to a much closer relationship with our Lord and Savior. We take seriously the example of
Jesus Christ, who ate with and ministered to tax collectors, prostitutes,
ex-felons, and all sinners. While only baptized Christians (of any denomination)
may receive
Holy Eucharist, and only members may apply for Holy Orders, we very warmly welcome anyone seeking the Love of God to
join us in prayer.
Jesus Christ came for all people, because God loves all people, and because God wants all people to come to fullness of life. The Church wasn't created to stand in the way of people coming to God, but rather to act as an agent of healing and reconciliation through which people are exposed to the love that is Christ Jesus. For this reason we offer baptism freely to all who seek it; our only condition is that they reject their past sins, and confess faith in the Nicene Creed.
We are part of the universal church being Bible based and we acknowledge the
following creeds: The Apostle's Creed, The Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
Other creeds may be used in sermons and in Teachings but are not held in the
same accord as the three historic creeds. The Celtic Christian Communion also takes seriously its motto, which is at the
closing of this letter. In pursuit of this, we force no doctrine on anyone,
and we only teach those doctrines which can be shown though the Bible.
In order to fully live our lives in the footsteps of our savior, We will minister to all those in need. We focus not just on those with whom we are similar, but we also reach out a helping hand to all. Those who are suffering and those who are not. For there are three virtues a Christian must live by Faith, Hope, and Love (Charity). The greatest of which is Love.
OUR MOTTO
Where the Scriptures speak, we speak. Where the Scriptures are silent, we are
silent.
In essentials, unity. In nonessentials, liberty. In all things, love.
We are not the only Christians. We are Christians only.
No law but love.
Humbly in Christ Service;
Bro. Tom Mills, Canon
